This module repairs one link: the call that comes in while your hands are full. It doesn't create calls — that's module 01 and 02.

Module 03 — AI receptionist

The line still answers while you're under a house

You keep your number. When you can't pick up, the line answers, gets the name, the address and the problem, works out how urgent it is, and texts you the job. If the system dies, the call goes to your cell — not to a full mailbox.

Live demo — try to break it

Call it yourself. It's a robot and it says so.

(580) 217-2841

The demo answers as Summit Comfort HVAC, a shop that doesn't exist. Give it a fake address and a fake problem and see what it does with them. The vendor behind it is Job Catch.

It's a demonstration of the module working — not a client result, and not a claim about what it will do for your shop.

Before you dial — what happens to the call

The AI states that it's AI, on every call, for full transparency.
The call is not recorded and not transcribed.
What's kept is a short written summary of the job details, sent to the shop owner.
If a text goes out, the first message carries STOP and HELP wording.
It's a demo line — don't give it real medical, financial or account information.

What it does

Answers inbound calls when you can't — after hours, on a roof, under a house
Captures the caller, the location, the problem and how urgent it is
Sends you a short summary you can read between jobs
Books onto Google Calendar, Jobber or Housecall Pro when your rules allow it
Missed-call text-back, when texting is enabled for your line
Escalation and failover rules — hard cases and outages route to your cell
You keep your existing number, so leaving doesn’t cost you the number

What it doesn't do

No dispatch, no billing, no outbound sales calling — inbound only
Doesn't replace a real office manager's judgment on a messy job
Doesn't quote prices or negotiate — it captures and hands off
Isn't an emergency service. Life-safety calls get told to hang up and dial 911
Doesn't pretend to be a person if a caller asks

If a caller is better served by a human, the point of the escalation rules is to get them one.

Plans

One-time setup, then a flat monthly rate

Most shops start on Desk. Every plan includes: the line answered when you can't and your number kept, missed-call text-back when enabled, a short SMS summary to the owner when enabled, and failover to your cell if the system dies.

Month to month after setup — no twelve-month commitment. Inbound only: no dispatch, billing, ads or outbound calling.

Desk

$249/mo
after $750 setup

Smaller shops that just need the line covered.

Appointment capture onto Google Calendar, Jobber or Housecall Pro
Fair use up to 500 minutes a month, then $0.70 a minute
At about 400 minutes I tell you and offer Book before overage hits
30-day pilot available — install included, fee credits toward setup if you convert

Stay here if: volume is low and you want the desk covered without paying for heavier booking automation.

Grow

$549/mo
after $1,750 setup

Everything in Book, plus a monthly one-page report: calls answered, jobs captured, bookings, and where they came from.

Not available yet

Automated review requests, quote follow-up sequences and reactivation texts are held until the consent and messaging side is properly squared away. They are not part of what you'd be buying today, and they'll be priced when they're real. Don't buy Grow for these.

Setup is one time. Monthly is month to month. You keep your number. Overage is billed at $0.70 a minute above the 500-minute fair-use allowance.

Setting it up

01 · Listen

How you take calls now, what you ask people, what a real emergency sounds like in your trade.

02 · Configure

Call flow, service-area ZIPs, calendar rules, after-hours policy, escalation and failover numbers.

03 · Test

We call it together and try to break it before your customers do — including the failover path.

04 · Tune

First weeks, I read what it captured and adjust the questions. When it breaks, you call me.

Call the demo first. Then we'll talk.

Two minutes on the demo line tells you more than I can. If it handles a call the way you'd want yours handled, the setup conversation is short.
